Google Pay

Payment Page Integration

Google Pay can be integrated on request into the Datatrans Payment Page like any other Payment Method. It its compatible with the Redirect Mode and Lightbox Mode. The whole payment process is handled by the Datatrans web application.

Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, or UCWeb UC Browser. More detailed information can be found on the official Google Pay Website

Since Google Pay is used in combination with credit cards it is advised to have at least one major credit card network (e.g. Visa, Mastercard, American Express, etcetera) set up.

Please refer to the Redirect or Lightbox documentation to learn how to integrate a payment method

Please note that due to technical constraints it is not possible to use the parameter paymentmethod=PAY by itself. A minimum of two payment methods has to be selected. In case you need payment method preselection please refer to the following chapter for merchant integrations

Merchant Integration

Merchants who would like to integrate Google Pay directly on their own checkout page can do so as well, by using the Datatrans XML-API, which now supports Google Pay. To see how such an integration can be achieved / looks like please head over to

For additonal information and meaning of parameters please refer to the
